In recent years the downtown beach area has acquired a multi-million dollar marina, which has increased the businesses in the emerging downtown business district.
Things To Do in Boynton Beach
On the first Friday of each month grab your picnic basket and your family and catch a movie under the stars. Once a month from October through June you can watch a free family friendly movie at the Ocean Avenue Amphitheater. Get there early to get yourself a good seat and secure yourself parking. Another great event for the family is “Pirate Fest and Mermaid Splash” coming to downtown Boynton Beach on October 24th and 25th. Downtown Boynton will be transformed into a haunted pirate village, filled with activities and entertainment for all ages! There will be live music, stunt shows, an interactive pirate ship, and plenty of children’s activities to entertain the kid in you! To find something fun to do on a day when a fun event is not taking place, look no further than the Boynton Harbor Marina. At the marina you can do everything from rent jet skis and motorboats, to charter a fishing boat, to scuba dive through magnificent reefs.
